Awards & Accolades

Shannon has been performing since she was a young girl. She has played roles in many musicals and plays at Theatre Hamber, including The Wiz, Fiddler on the Roof, Once Upon a Matress, and the Gathered Leaves. Shannon has also participated in many musical theatre workshops where she was taught to act, sing, and dance, such as at Arts Umbrella, StageCraft, Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance!, St. Michael’s School Summer Academy, and Authentic Performance Academy in Oxford, England.  She has been taking private voice lessons for six years. She has been a soloist in recitals for the National Association of Teachers of Singing both in Vancouver and in Oxford. 

Shannon has been a teaching assistant for a Grade 8 drama class at Eric Hamber Secondary School, this year.

Next year, she is excited to be starting her Bachelor of Fine arts in acting at UBC.

Hannah has been working with children within the fine arts industry for thirteen years since joining the staff of the prestigious musical theatre school StageCraft in 2003. Alongside her work with SCTS Hannah took her work into the the buzzing Vancouver film industry as an onset drama coach working on the sets of Diary of a Wimpy Kid,  Battlestar Galactica ​and ​The Tooth Fairy. 


In 2012 Hannah left her hometown of Vancouver to attend the University of Oxford to obtain a Masters degree in creative writing. Whilst in Oxford Hannah maintained her connection with teaching working for Authentic Performance Academy as a drama instructor. 


On returning to Vancouver in 2016 Hannah began teaching with Opus Academy in the Westside where she taught the RCM, LCM and Trinity Speech and Drama curriculums. 


Hannah is excited to be bringing her two passions of creative writing and drama together with Imagine That! Tuition.
